Who is eligible to participate in Project GATE?
A.The project is designed to serve all those interested in pursuing the American dream of owning their own business. The project serves adult job seekers wanting career advancement and current small business owners who need help expanding or sustaining an already existing business. Q.How many people are you serving A.We project a minimum of 400 participants over two years in the Minneapolis-St. Paul and Philadelphia sites. We project a minimum of 300 participants in each of the rural sites over two years. We anticipate a great deal of interest in each of the sites, but realize that not all people interested in the project will elect to enter the project and/or complete the microenterprise training and loan application process. For evaluation purposes, our goal is to serve a minimum of 2000 total participants. Q.
