Who is eligible to be a People’s Choice Award Nominee?
We seek nominations of individuals or organizations who have made a substantial contribution to the advancement of human rights and justice. Nominees may be from any country and of any age. Nominations may be posted directly online at humanrightsaward.org or submitted by mail. To request a mail-in nomination form contact Randy Boyes at 415.575.5543. Nominations must be posted on the website by 5PM April 19, 2011 and mail-in nominations must be received by 5PM April 18, 2011. Applicants should propose nominees who have made a significant contribution to the advancement of human rights. Nominees can be individuals or nonprofit organizations. Nomination requirements are few in order to encourage innovation and participation.
