Who is eligible to apply for ASEP funding?
A6. Eligible recipients will be incorporated not-for-profit organizations with membership that reflects the major interests within the geographical area of the economic development opportunities, including equitable representation of all local Aboriginal communities and the private sector. The incorporated organization may also include representatives of provincial/territorial government(s), labour, local and regional educational institutions and sector councils, as well as others, as appropriate. If the legally incorporated entity is not in place when the proposal is submitted, it must be in place prior to HRSDC signing a contribution agreement for the project.
