Who is eligible for the Income Protection Insurance?
All SCEA staff who work 15 regular hours of paid work each week and under the age of 65 is covered from their first day of employment. This cover only applies to staff employed on a permanent basis (i.e. not casuals). Income Protection is often provided as a default by superannuation funds. SCEA encourages employees to check that they are not doubling up on their insurance covers.
