Who is eligible for the Housing Allowance (BAH)?

0

Veterans using the Post 9/11 GI Bill might be eligible for the Housing Allowance (BAH) if he or she meets the following conditions: • Veteran must be attending more than ½ time (see VA Training Times) • Veteran must be taking at least one resident course. The BAH is only paid for the time the veteran is attending a resident course. Veterans on Active Duty status, or only taking LU Online courses, are not eligible to receive the BAH. If you are a dependent (child) of an Active Duty service member, you will still receive the BAH. The BAH is paid directly to the veteran/dependent.
