Who Is Eligible for the Benefit for Dependents of Deceased, Disabled Oregon Veterans?
In order to qualify for the Benefit for Dependents of Deceased, Disabled Oregon Veterans, you must: • Be the child, stepchild, adopted child, or un-remarried spouse of an Ohio veteran who either died or became totally and permanently disabled as a direct result of military service after September 11, 2001 • Be an Oregon resident • Be 23 years or younger at the time that you apply for this education benefit While most bachelor’s and master’s programs at online and OUS campuses qualify for tuition assistance, certain distance education, certificate, and vocational programs are excluded.
