Who is eligible for Portability of Coverage?
A. Any eligible employee or dependent must have been covered under another health plan within 63 days of the date of enrollment under the employers plan to be eligible for portability of coverage. An eligible person is entitled to receive credit toward a group health plans pre-existing condition exclusionary period for the time he/she was covered under the health plan(s). Q.
