To be eligible to be nominated for admission to DSLDP, an individual must: · Be a permanent, full-time civilian employee of the Department of Defense; · Occupy, on a permanent basis, a position at grade GS-14 or 15, or equivalent. Under the National Security Personnel System (NSPS), an eligible employee is in a Professional/Analytical pay schedule at the expert (pay band 3) level or in pay band 3 of a Supervisor/Manager pay schedule. Others who held a GS-14 position immediately prior to conversion to NSPS are also eligible. (Those in DCIPS and other broad-banding systems or on grade retention should check with their Human Resources advisors); · Possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, as required for admission to PME; and · Possess a minimum of one year (preferably more) of significant experience in supervising or managing people in an official capacity that was acquired no more than five years ago.
