Who is eligible for HeartShares Early Childhood Services?
HeartShare’s First Step Early Childhood Centers serve infant, toddlers and preschoolers with speech and language disorders, behavior disorders, mental retardation, physical handicaps, autism spectrum disorders, Down’s Syndrome, and special medical conditions such as seizures, respiratory or cardiac disorders, and tracheotomies. Our Universal Pre-K program is open to all four-year old children who live in either school District 27 in Queens or District 20 in Brooklyn.
