Who is eligible for Group Insurance coverage?
A. To be deemed eligible, an employee must: • Be actively working, • Be employed by your company on a permanent basis, • Work the required minimum number of hours per week on a regular basis (as specified in the Employee Benefits Booklet), • Complete the waiting period (as specified in the Employee Benefits Booklet), • Belong to a division and class of employees eligible for your plan, • Be insured under a provincial government health plan and reside in Canada.
