Who is Eligible for Expungement and Record Sealing?
Not everyone is eligible for a record sealing or expungement (also known as expunction). Eligibility is not solely dependent on the crime involved. It is also based on the outcome of the case. For example, if a charge of drug possession or any other drug charge resulted in a conviction, it cannot be sealed. However, if the charge resulted in a dismissal or withheld adjudication, it may be eligible for sealing or expungement. We are able to quickly identify opportunities to give you a clean record. If the opportunity exists, we will take you through the process to help you prevent the negative impact of having a criminal record, even if it is just an arrest record that resulted in dismissal.
