Who is eligible for exchange?
To go on exchange, you need to be an enrolled Middlesex student (undergraduate or postgraduate). Most of our degree programmes allow you to go on exchange. Most undergraduates go on exchange during their second year but some programmes may require exchanges to take place only in the third year. You cannot go in your first year, but you will probably need to apply while in your first year. You need to speak to your Programme Leader early in the process, as you will need their approval before you can go on exchange. Most undergraduate exchanges are for a full year, although some programmes allow single term exchanges: discuss this with your Programme Leader. Part-time students can go on exchange, but you will be recorded as studying full time while on exchange, which may affect tuition fees and eligibility for state benefits.
