Local programs work with health care providers to see that children with elevated blood lead levels are followed and families educated on lead risks and exposure. • Anyone under the age of 21 who has been found to have a blood lead test persistently ≥15 μg/dL or ≥20 μg/dL is eligible for extensive nursing and home services through the local lead program.
