Who is eligible for ASTVAs services?
In order for a client to be eligible to receive covered home health services from ASTVA, the law requires that a physician certify in all cases that the client is confined to his or her home. An individual does not have to be bedridden to be considered confined to his or her home. However, the condition of patients should be such that there exists a normal inability to leave home and, consequently, leaving their homes would require a considerable and taxing effort.
