Who is Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP)?
Electro Billing & Payment Services, Inc. (EBPS) is a New Jersey corporation, formed to provide EBPP services to clients throughout the United States. In addition to providing customer service, EBPS coordinates all the services encompassed in the Electro Billing electronic billing and payment program that are provided internally or by affiliates. EBPS sees to it that customers are billed and payments are received on a timely basis. They also bill each client at the end of each month in accordance with the agreements that are in place. After clients send their billing information to EBPS, how are the customers billed? EBPS transfers the client billing information collected to an affiliate that stores customer files, historical data and current billing information. The current information is converted to new invoices and those bills are made available for viewing over the Internet.
