Who is EAS ?
EAS are leading-edge innovators in the design and manufacture of factory automation solutions and have been serving the injection moulding, metal stamping and related industries for more than 20 years with state-of-the-art quick mould change (QMC), quick die change (QDC) and magnetic clamping systems (MCS). In fact, the firms origins go back as far as the 1920s when Enerpac the world leader in general purpose high-force power tools was formed in the USA. During the 1990s, with the growing need for state-of-the-art technology in single minute exchange of die (SMED) solutions, three experienced, long serving senior Enerpac executives; Harm Nijzink, Hero Marggrander and Cliff Drake, knew that they had an in-depth understanding of what the production industry needed in terms of time reducing product ideas and value added manufacturing and service capabilities.
