Who is Dungeness Environmental?
Dungeness Environmental (DE), located in Bothell, WA, was formed as a division of Dungeness Development Associates, Inc. (DDA), in early 2009, by chemists and erosion and sediment control professionals who are pioneers in stormwater treatment. DDA owns and operates a shellfish cannery in South Bend, WA that generates large quantities of crab and shrimp shell material that DE recycles to produce a powerful, safe and biodegradable water treatment biopolymer called chitosan. DE is focused on developing new environmentally friendly water clarification polymers and equipment for a wide range of applications.
