Who is dian fossey, big time question please help?
Dian Fossey was a researcher who is famous for her work with Gorillas. If you have heard of Jane Goodall and her work with chimpanzees, Fossey’s work was similar. She was born in January 16, 1932 in San Fransisco and died December 26, 1985. (1) “Her parents had divorced when she was young, and Dian grew up with her mother and stepfather. By all accounts, she was an excellent student and was extremely interested in animals from a very young age. At age 6, she began horseback riding lessons and in high school earned a letter on the riding team” (2). When she was 19 and studying business at college, she worked at a dude ranch where she fell in love with and developed an attachment to the animals. She therefore went to the University of California as a pre-veterinary student, but she found sciences like Chemistry and Physics hard and switched to occupational therapy at San Jose State College (2). Fossey is famous for her studies of African gorillas, especially mountain gorillas. (Interesti
