Derick started flying in 1981 in Dallas, Texas on a three week intensive course. Since then he has acquired considerable experience under both CAA and FAA Fixed Wing and Helicopter licences but mainly flying Piper aircraft. You may also know him from his days running Derick S. Gunning VW/Audi/Porsche Specialists in Hertford from 1979 to 2002.
