Comic’s O coke boast By GEOFF EARLE Last Updated: 5:42 AM, October 24, 2009 Posted: 3:43 AM, October 24, 2009 WASHINGTON — Comedian David Cross says he snorted cocaine while sitting just yards from President Obama at this year’s White House Correspondents Dinner — putting Obama in closer proximity to the drug than perhaps any time since his reckless youth. The “Arrested Development” star made the claim in a stand-up routine at DC’s Warner Theater, telling the crowd he was in a contest of “dares and outrageousness” with a friend and did the deed while seated “super close to the president,” Politico reported. “So I got to go because my girlfriend is a fancy Hollywood actress, and she got an invitation to go this last time, so we went,” said Cross, who is dating former “Joan of Arcadia” star Amber Tamblyn. “I’ve got photos of all this . . . I’m there and the president is right here, and with all these people at the table” Cross snorted some coke, he said.
