Who is covered by the MAAC General Public Liability Insurance policy?

0

The Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC), Paid up MAAC registered member clubs, Paid up individual members of MAAC, All owners of property used by MAAC and their paid up registered clubs, Volunteers during demonstrations and events. Remember that this is a Third Party Liability insurance policy much like the section of your automobile insurance (PL&PD) that only covers injury or damage to the other guy. We have also noticed that some clubs do not renew their club memberships in MAAC until after our insurance and membership renewal date, December 31st each year. Neither your club nor your landlord is insured until the Club renewal is confirmed by MAAC when this occurs. Individual members are also not covered until they have current membership cards in their hands. It is thus highly recommended that individual and club renewals occur well prior to the December 31st deadline.
