A mature student is any candidate who is 23 years of age on the 1st of January of the year of entry to an approved course in a recognised Higher Education Institute (HEI).

A. In order to be considered as a mature student you have to be 21 years or older at the beginning of the term you are applying for and you have not attended any other post-secondary institutions (i.e. university/Community College) since you left high school.
