Who is conducting the inquiry?
Dr Derek Morris, the Chairman of the CC, appoints a Group, which is made up of a chairman and at least three members. The Group is chosen to achieve a balance of experience relevant to the inquiry. Great care is taken to avoid conflicts of interest. The Group appointed to investigate the Coloplast/SSL merger is chaired by Arthur Pryor. He has served on six previous merger inquiries. Mr Pryor is a self-employed consultant. He is joined by Professor John Baillie, an accountant, Professor David Parker, an economist, Stephen Walzer, a lawyer, and Alan Young who is a business consultant.
