Colt McCoy is a quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, who selected him in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. During his college career, McCoy led the Texas Longhorns to 45 wins, the most of any quarterback in NCAA history. He also was named the NCAA’s Quarterback of the Year in 2009. McCoy was redshirted during Texas’ 2005 title campaign, but took over the team’s starting role in 2006, and tied the then-NCAA record for touchdowns by a freshman quarterback with 29, capping the year with an Alamo Bowl victory. McCoy earned a win in the 2007 Holiday Bowl, then topped that in 2008 by finishing runner-up for the Heisman Trophy and scoring a win over Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl. The Longhorns went 12-0 in the regular season in McCoy’s senior year, but he was injured in Texas’ loss to Alabama in the BCS Championship Game.
