Who is ClickBank and why do you deal with them?
ClickBank is a company that specializes in managing affiliate programs. They handle all of the details of the Mortgage Minder affiliate program including processing the orders (for a fee of course). But it’s worth it, because then I don’t have to be concerned about getting a merchant account to accept credit cards on-line, or worry about tracking resellers and how many sales they have made. Why reinvent the wheel? These guys do this every day, and their rates are pretty reasonable. It also provides an unbiased third party to make you comfortable that I am not ripping you off. For example, if you send me 500 people and 50 of them make a purchase, how do you know that, unless I tell you. And if I wanted to be deceptive, I could tell you that you only made 20 sales. I wouldn’t do that, but I feel better knowing a third party is in charge, that way there can never be any doubt in your mind that the sales figures are correct.
