Who is Casper?
Casper is a “friendly” ghost who actually likes to interact with living beings (humans,animals). Because he is rather young and innocent at heart, he does not understand why people are afraid of him. This doesn’t deter him and he is known as Casper the Friendly Ghost in most of the videos and other media items. Casper has been on television and video for many years, including being first filmed in black and white. So, you see, many of us grew up with Casper the Friendly Ghost. So, naturally when I found this video at Blockbuster last year, I was wondering what it would be like. But since I bought it in May, I didn’t watch it with my children until today. Casper’s First Christmas Casper and his friend, Hairey Scarey, are living in an old house that is scheduled to be condemned. Currently they have a reprieve because it is snowing, but the bulldozer stares at them from the window. Casper realizes that it is Christmastime, and decides that he wants to celebrate the holiday with friends. H
