Who is building the Mesa Verde and where?
A13. Northrop Grumman Ship Systems facilities on the Gulf Coast are building Mesa Verde in Pascagoula, MS. Her sister ships are under construction at the Northrop Grumman shipyard in Avondale, LA as well as one near LPD 19 in Pascagoula. Major defense contractors Raytheon Corporation, Intergraph Corporation and over 300 sub-contractors and vendors located in 38 states are also part of this effort.
