Who is better, Micheal W Smith, or Chris Tomlin?
I don’t think they are in competition M.W.S is More contemporary Christian music like you hear on the radio. Chris Tomlin is Worship like you hear in Church. Micheal does worship also but not exclusively. Chris Tomlin is all about Worship. Worship songs are vertical believer to God. Contemporary Christian songs are more often horizontal believer to believer or believer to non believer for the purpose of encouragement, strengthening or enlightenment or evangelism. So Micheal is more of a singing pastor evangelist and Chris is more of a Worship leader. So you are trying to compare oranges with tangerines. both are citrus but they are not the same.
