Who is behind Clinical Pharmacology?
The site was conceived and designed by myself, Dr Stephan Jaiser. When I took my finals, a set of notes written by an ex-student (Dr Rick Neal) saw me through the pharmacology part. Unlike any other source, they contained everything I needed to know in a concise yet readable format. However, even in my time they were out of date, and probably a little unfinished. Then his website went offline in 2004. It was time to revive the ‘Pharmacology Project’, a stalled initiative of two friends and myself to create a decent set of pharm notes. It wasn’t exactly easy to do this solo, but at least it got me to read all that pharm again in the run-up to the MRCP. Here’s the result – enjoy!
