Who is authorized to sign agreements and documents with external sponsors?
The MUSC Board of Trustees Policy for the Administration of Research and Other Sponsored Programs indicate the following individuals have the limited power of attorney to endorse sponsored agreements: The President, The Provost, The Associate Provost for Research, the Director(s) and Assistant Directors of ORSP. Route the grant application and proposal data sheet to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. Proposals for corporate sponsors should be sent to the Corporate Office, in Room 604 of the Harborview Office Tower. Federal, foundation and state grants go to the main office, located at Room 606, Harborview Tower.
