A. ASCE was established in 1852 and is the nation’s oldest national engineering society. The Wisconsin chapter was established in 1923 and our 2,153 members work in industry, government and academia. They practice in all civil engineering disciplines, including transportation, water treatment and supply, and environmental engineering.
