Who is an Authorized Dealer in foreign exchange?
Authorized dealers in foreign exchange are those banks/ entities in India permitted by Reserve Bank under section 10 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, which alone are entitled to engage in foreign exchange transactions with each other, with non-residents and with resident non banking clients for certain approved purposes.
