Who is an acceptable third-party verifier?
Environment Canada will identify the criteria for an acceptable verifier. Requiring verifiers to demonstrate that they meet the minimum criteria will ensure that they have adequate competencies to conduct verifications for the Program. The criteria will be outlined in the “Guidance Manual for Applicants for Early Action Credits”. Environment Canada will consult stakeholders on the draft guide in fall 2008 and will publish the final Guidance Manual in winter 2009.
