Who is alfred wegener?
Alfred Wegener was most notable for his theory of continental drift. He was a geophysicist, German scientist, and a meteorologist. His hypothesis of continental drift was not accepted till the 1950’s, because he could not demonstrate a mechanism that backed his theory.
