Who is affected by the US Digital Transition?

0

Only television viewers in the United States will be affected. TV sets in the US that use “rabbit ears” or an antenna to receive broadcast channels, and are not connected to cable or satellite, will need a converter box connected to an antenna to continue to receive and display broadcast television. Television sets that do not have a built-in digital tuner will also need a converter box to continue to receive broadcast television after the digital transition occurs. Any television set connected to a cable or satellite in the US or Canada will not be affected by the transition.
