Who is administering UGAAlert?
UGAAlert is administered by the Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness (OSEP). However, several UGA departments are involved in the project including the UGA Police Department (UGAPD), Public Affairs, and Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS). Only authorized representatives from OSEP, UGAPD, and Public Affairs can send emergency messages using UGAAlert.
