Who is administering the grants?
Up to 1st January 2013 woodland creation planting, maintenance and fencing grants will be administered and paid by Forestry Commission Wales. Woodland creation premium grants (the agricultural income foregone payments which will replace the current Improved Land Premium) will be paid from Capit. FCW are looking to use contract Project Officers to develop applications and these will be taken from the current Management Planner list. From 1st January 2013 woodland creation will be delivered by Glastir staff using WAG systems. and pay capital planting, maintenance and fencing grants.
