Who is a typical Coro Fellow?
Coro Fellows are bright, self-motivated women and men who are committed to civic engagement. Fellows come from all academic disciplines, careers, and ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds with demonstrated leadership potential, concern for the well-being of communities, and a commitment to public service. A Coro Fellow is one who is idealistic but realistic, and sees himself/herself as a potential agent for change. Someone who is flexible, willing to take risks, and someone who can handle opposition. A Coro Fellow is committed to improving the democratic process and has a strong desire to contribute their passion and intelligence to solving some of the society’s most complex problems.
