Who is a Private patient?

0

A private patient is one who gets to see a consultant (Specialist) with whom he has booked an appointment. In certain departments, during the first visit, you may be seen by one of the other doctors in the unit, who will order tests, if necessary. The consultant will then see you with the results during the next and subsequent visits. The consultation fee for a new private registration is Rs.500/- and to see every additional consultant (specialist) the consultation fee is Rs.450/-. For each review visit the charge is Rs.150/-. Once in three months, the registration needs to be renewed with a payment of Rs.450/-. (The registration fee is revised every year in the month of January).
