Who is a bigger NBA draft bust, Kwame Brown or Darko Milicic?
I’m going to say Darko for a couple of reasons. First Kwame is a servicable player, certainly hasn’t lived up to the hype of the number one pick but he is starter and a contributor on the Pistons and there is always going to be a home for a guy with his size and athleticism to bang down low and grab rebounds. There is a good chance that Darko could be out of the league and back in Europe realy soon. The other reason I’ll say Darko is because his draft was so much better than Kwame’s, the Pistons took Darko over Melo, Wade, Bosh, Kaman, Hinrich, Josh Howard, David West, Boris Diaw, Leandro Barbosa, Kendrick Perkins, Steve Blake, Mo Williams, I mean there are 7 All-Stars there and a bunch of solid NBA players where as Kwame’s draft did not have nearly that much talent in fact most of the top 10 are busts not including Gasol and Joe Johnson. Also the Pistons new how great Melo and Wade were and chose to take a project player instead on the belief that he would blossom into a great player
