Who invented the pinata?
The exact person that invented the pinata is not known, however, it’s a tradition that began in ancient times in Europe. The first pinatas were made from clay pots that were decorated with bright paint and colorful paper streamers and the pots were filled with coins and candy. All these years later, pinatas are made from paper Mache, but are just as colorful and fun as ever and come in almost any shape and size you can imagine.
