Who invented the first tractor?
If you are referring to a generic tractor, then that was invented by a Frenchmen Nicholas Cugnot. However, most people, when they think of tractors, think of John Deere. Who founded the largest agricultural and equipment manufacturer in the world back in the 1800’s. In fact John Deere is credited more with the the steel plow than the tractor!
