Who invented the drums?
Africa of course all culture music dance instruments were first practised in Africa otherwise name me another place possibly which has influenced every music today. from classical to Hip Hop. As they were used for long distance communication and a way to communicate with the dead putting people in a trance which can still today. Was possibly invented soon after when humans could first talk so theres no possible year as the drum was the first instrument of music. But your definition of drum is not clear it could be the ones used in Rock music today which was clearly copied from African drums.
