Who invented ice teas?

Ice teas were invented by Mr. Richard Blechyndan in the St. Louis world fair of 1904 where he had put up a stall to promote Indian Teas. However due to the sultry heat at the time there were no takers for his hot cup of tea. In order to increase sales he poured tea into a glass filled with ice and sold it. Since then there has been no turning back for ice teas. However today a lot of the mass marketed iced teas are only flavoured water and contain almost no tea at all in them. These may be damaging to your health so do check the ingredients to see if real tea has been used to make the ice teas.
