However, it wasn’t until Christianity was introduced which united the tribes and ended up creating the feudal system. Power seeking boyars from Kiev took the role as nobles. One of those who fought and won power as the first Tsar, Ivan the Terrible. He is said to be the first ruler of Russia and officially created the Russian feudal system.
