If a T1 connection is selected, the DaimlerChrysler telecomm group will install everything, including a hub to connect the VPM workstation to the DaimlerChrysler network. The supplier is required to route a network drop from this hub to the workstation. If an ISDN connection is selected, DPS (248-967-4350) must be contacted by the supplier for installation of an ISDN phone line and a Gandalf router. The VPM workstation then connects to the router, allowing access to the DaimlerChrysler network.
