Who installs connectrac systems?
As with all electrical systems, the connectrac power conduit must be hard-wired by a licensed electrician. The rest of the components (base track and ramps, etc.) can be installed by flooring contractors, furniture installers or electricians. Typically, flooring contractors complete the installation by gluing the carpet to the raceway ramps, cut the carpet along the raceway cap and install the wall base using the template to cut the bottom edge of the base to the same profile as the raceway system.
