Who influenced Ben Franklin to be an inventor?
Ben Franklin’s father, Josiah, was a tallow chandler, a soap-maker and a candle-maker. Because wax could ignite suddenly, Ben became used to working with potentially dangerous materials. Since Josiah couldn’t afford advanced schooling, Ben taught himself through extensive reading, developing his initiative and thirst for knowledge which led to his discoveries.
