Hollywood bungalow: On August 5, 1962, LAPD police sergeant Jack Clemmons received a call at 4:25AM from Dr. Hyman Engelberg proclaiming that Monroe was dead at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California.” I assume that the “sleepless” reference was in regard to her use of sleeping pills.
