Who hires internship students?
Where do most interns work? Seventy percent of internship students are placed within Calgary. Internship students have been placed all over the world including: Australia, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Scotland, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Japan! Is my internship recognized as valid experience for APEGGA? Yes, APEGGA (The Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta) recognizes up to one year of the internship experience to be counted towards the four years required experience to become a professional engineer.
